Turkish Bazaar is a baklava and Turkish delight shop in Amman. The project responds to the unusually narrow and deep footprint through a sequence of repeated green arches, introducing rhythm and breaking down the perception of a continuous corridor.
The ground floor is dedicated entirely to retail and customer areas, while the kitchen, office and service spaces are organised on the upper level. Display units are concentrated along one side of the store, with a continuous mirrored surface opposite to visually expand the interior and reinforce the repetition of the arches.
At the rear, a small coffee counter creates a place for customers to pause while their orders are prepared.
Arched geometries, hexagonal floor tiles and a deep green palette reinterpret familiar references from Turkish architecture through a contemporary and restrained material language.
