Apartment AS is a residence in Göktürk, Istanbul, shaped around a restrained architectural palette that allows art, objects and material details to define the character of the interior.

The main living and dining areas are conceived as a continuous social space, combining warm timber flooring with dark-stained joinery and fine black metal elements. Custom shelving extends vertically through the room, integrating storage, display and lighting within a single architectural composition, while subtle brass accents add warmth to the darker finishes.

A large hand-drawn botanical mural forms a focal point between the living and dining areas, creating a softer counterpoint to the linear furniture and architectural detailing. Natural stone is introduced selectively through bespoke pieces, adding texture without overpowering the otherwise quiet palette.

Throughout the apartment, architecture, furniture, lighting and the owners’ collection of art and objects are treated as part of one composition, resulting in an interior that feels personal, collected and composed.
