EG House is a four-bedroom family residence in Göktürk, Istanbul, designed around a calm and highly considered interior language.

The project combines warm timber, natural stone, soft grey tones and dark metal details within a restrained material palette. Custom joinery is used extensively throughout the house, allowing storage, media units, dressing areas and workspaces to become part of the architecture rather than stand-alone furniture pieces.

The main living spaces are defined by clean lines, generous built-in surfaces and a controlled lighting scheme, creating a quiet backdrop for everyday life. In the bedrooms, softer textures and warmer tones introduce a more intimate character, while the children’s rooms are treated individually through playful graphics, custom furniture and flexible study areas.

Across the residence, the design focuses on balancing functionality with visual clarity, creating a home that feels tailored, composed and comfortable without becoming overly formal.
