Gokturk Office is a 240 sqm private workspace in Göktürk, Istanbul, designed as both a place to work and a personal retreat.

The programme brings together formal meeting areas with a library, lounge and social spaces, allowing the office to shift between focused work, hosting and more informal use. A full-height custom bookcase becomes one of the defining elements of the interior, integrating books, personal objects and display within the architecture.

A predominantly dark material palette of stained timber, black metal and muted grey surfaces gives the interior a composed and intimate character. Ribbed glass and glass block partitions introduce transparency while maintaining separation between spaces, while carefully integrated lighting brings depth to the darker finishes.

Throughout the office, bespoke joinery and architectural detailing create a consistent language across the reception, meeting room and private areas. Rather than following a conventional corporate aesthetic, the project was conceived as a highly personal environment reflecting both work and leisure.
