Hiva Atelier is a 38 sqm accessories store at Emaar Square in Istanbul, designed around a compact plan and a deliberately limited material palette that keeps the products in the foreground.
Display and storage are integrated into a stepped microcement perimeter, complemented by freestanding elements in stainless steel, burl wood and painted finishes. At the centre of the store, an existing mall column is transformed into a defining architectural element, wrapped in vertically arranged textured ripple glass. The glass retains its inherent pale green tint, giving the volume a translucent presence within the otherwise restrained interior.
A warm apricot-toned plane at the rear introduces a controlled contrast to the neutral setting, while the combination of reflective metal, textured glass and timber adds depth without competing with the merchandise.
The result is a compact retail space in which material, colour and display are reduced to a few precise gestures, allowing the collection to remain the primary focus.
