Gizem Türkeli Architects is an Istanbul-based architecture and interior design studio working across retail, residential and commercial projects, providing a complete scope from concept to on-site delivery.

From concept to completion
We work across architecture and interior design, developing projects from the first idea through technical resolution and construction. Depending on the scope, we either remain involved as design supervisors throughout the construction process, or undertake the complete project as a turnkey design-and-build service.

We develop each project from its initial idea, defining the spatial strategy, material language and overall design direction in response to its context, function and identity.Every project begins with understanding its context, program and users. Through spatial planning, material studies, visual research and design exploration, we establish the architectural language and overall direction of the project.

The concept is developed into a resolved design through detailed plans, elevations, custom joinery, material and lighting specifications. Technical documentation translates the design into clear information for contractors, suppliers and fabricators.

We remain closely involved during construction, reviewing drawings, samples and site conditions while coordinating design decisions with contractors and suppliers. Regular site involvement helps maintain the quality, proportions and details established during the design process.

For selected projects, we take responsibility for both design and construction. From procurement and contractor coordination to production and on-site execution, the entire process is managed by our studio through to final delivery.
